Mercer County: Building Momentum
Presented by Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes, the Mercer County Board of Chosen Freeholders and the Mercer County Office of Economic Development & Sustainability, in partnership with the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce. The event is sponsored by PSE&G.
This year’s Summit will emphasize “Building Momentum” as various local and national economic experts give overviews on the state of the economy. The Keynote Address, sponsored by PNC Bank, will be delivered by Bob Doll, Chief Equity Strategist for Fundamental Equities at BlackRock Advisors, LLC. He will discuss the progress made by the global and national economies, and challenges that are now being faced.
Professor James Hughes, Dean of Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University, will deliver an update on the state and local economy. Professor Hughes’ remarks will be sponsored by Hopewell Valley Community Bank. In addition, there will be a roundtable, entitled “Partners in Prosperity” featuring representatives from KenCo, Hutchinson, and Idis, sponsored by Princeton Healthcare System. The Roundtable will be moderated by Caren Franzini, CEO of New Jersey Economic Development Authority.
Other special guests and speakers include Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno, Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes, and Chairman of the PRCC Board of Directors Pat Ryan. After speeches have been delivered there will be time for cocktails and networking, sponsored by Fox Rothschild.
