Wine and Chocolate Specialty Tasting Event at Terhune Orchards on April 1

On April 1, a Wine and Chocolate Specialty Tasting Event will be held with Tony Brokenborough of Carol’s Creative Chocolatez and Terhune Orchards’ Vineyard Manager, Tony McDonell. Brokenborough will lead tasters through the history of chocolate from the days of Columbus to the present day.  McDonell will share the history of Terhune Orchards vineyard, vine selection and wine making.

This event will not disappoint wine and chocolate enthusiasts.  Everyone will leave with a better appreciation of chocolate and wine and how they work together Afterwards, enjoy an extended tasting of 10 high quality single origin and Belgian chocolates which have been expertly paired with Terhune Orchards wines. Registration includes a souvenir glass to go home.

The 1:00pm seating is limited to 50 guests. A 3:30 pm seating will be opened once 1:00 pm seating is at capacity.

All winery events are held in the new Wine Barn. Enjoy 12 wine varieties of Terhune Orchards wines including red, white and fruit based wines, by the glass or as a tasting flight. The large windows in the new climate controlled barn are a perfect vantage point to watch farm life outside or view the stainless steel wine storage tanks and bottling line where are award winning wines are produced from estate grown grapes.

Terhune Orchards is located at 330 Cold Soil Rd., Princeton

The farm store is open Mon- Fri 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sat. – Sun., 9 a.m. –5 p.m. 

The winery is open Friday- 12:00 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday, 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.
