NATIONAL JUNIOR TENNIS & LEARNING OF TRENTON (NJTLT)
ANNOUNCES DEBORAH J. FRAZIER TAKES THE HELM AT NJTL OF TRENTON
APRIL 18, 2017 -Trenton, NJ- Deborah J. Frazier has become the Executive Director of National Junior Tennis and Learning of Trenton (NJTLT), effective April 3, 2017. She succeeds Rob Howland who has been elevated to National Director of USTA’s NJTL programs.
“Frazier is passionate about the education of children and welcomes the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the diverse children in the Trenton community,” Albert Stark, President of NJTLT, said, announcing the selection. “Deborah reflects the values of NJTL of Trenton with her record of achievement and visionary leadership.”
In accepting the position, Frazier added, “I hope to motivate, inspire, and build upon NJTLT’s record of success.”
NJTL of Trenton, with its nationally-recognized Junior Champion Tennis Center at Cadwalader Park and its forthcoming Villa Park center, served 2762 Trenton youth in 2016 with tennis and learning programs at the Park and in Trenton public schools. Its model has been adopted in 68 cities in the United States.
Throughout her professional career, Frazier has served as a board member for non-profit organizations and knows the challenges of fundraising, tight budgets, and planning that organizations like NJTLT face today. She has played a significant role in coaching teams and building functional expertise of teams internationally. She received her undergraduate degree at Indiana University, and a Master’s in Business Administration from Columbia University.
